Read the individual FindMyCert course reviews

Before following a provider enrollment offer, check what each online course teaches, the documentation it issues, and any workplace practical-skills requirements. Our independent course pages explain these differences:

The online CPR/AED + First Aid Combo review describes the 22-chapter package, advertised 2–3 hour duration and two-year documentation. For a current offer, view the CPR/AED + First Aid course and current price →.

Online learning versus a workplace skills check

The linked combo product is listed as an online course. The provider separately advertises virtual skills-assessment and in-person training arrangements, but those are not automatically included at the $36.95 online-course price. OSHA says online-only training without physical skills practice does not meet the first-aid and CPR standards addressed in its August 2012 interpretation.

For healthcare roles: A course advertised as BLS, ACLS or PALS does not automatically provide a card issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or meet a hospital’s provider-specific hands-on requirements. Verify the required organization, credential and skills assessment with the employer or licensing board before paying. The American Heart Association is a separate organization from American Health Care Academy.

What to verify before enrolling

  • The employer or regulator accepts the exact issuing organization, not just the course title.
  • The online-only format is allowed, or any required physical skills session is included and scheduled.
  • Any CE credit is acceptable to your licensing board and applies to your profession.
  • The final price, course completion documentation, renewal rules, and refund conditions meet your needs.
  • For bloodborne pathogens training, the employer still addresses site-specific exposure-control duties and its applicable training obligations.
