American Health Care Academy: CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens Combo Online

AHCA's $49.95 online CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens bundle compared with workplace hands-on CPR and OSHA bloodborne training rules.

Provider information checked October 15, 2026. This American Health Care Academy combo packages online CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens material. It may be convenient for learners who have confirmed that their organization accepts these course issuers and formats. It is not a universal replacement for practical CPR training or an employer’s bloodborne pathogens program.

What’s included

  • 29 provider-listed chapters covering adult, child and infant CPR, AED fundamentals and everyday first-aid scenarios.
  • Bloodborne pathogen exposure concepts such as transmission routes, protective equipment, cleaning and incident reporting.
  • An estimated two hours online, according to the product page, with online assessments and provider-issued completion documentation.
  • The provider states CPR/AED and First Aid completion documents are valid for two years; its Bloodborne Pathogens document is valid for one year.

Why the two credential timelines matter

Do not assume every training element renews on the same date. The provider advertises a two-year CPR/first-aid cycle, while bloodborne pathogens coverage is described as a one-year course credential. OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens rule requires training for covered employees at initial assignment and at least annually, along with content matched to the employer’s exposure control plan.

What this bundle does not automatically include

For the CPR and first-aid standards in OSHA’s online-training interpretation, physical practice matters. For covered bloodborne pathogens training, 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2) also calls for employer-specific training and interactive questions and answers with a qualified person. FindMyCert has not verified that purchasing this online-only package includes both kinds of additional training.

Price and comparison

Provider-advertised price: $49.95 as of October 15, 2026. Compare this against AHCA’s $36.95 CPR/AED + First Aid Combo and the separate $9.95 Bloodborne Pathogens course. Buying the bundle should be based on which complete requirements you need, not a broad assumption about regulatory approval.
