Training & Certification Disclaimer

Understand what FindMyCert does and does not verify about training requirements, certifications, and third-party providers.

Last reviewed: October 10, 2026

FindMyCert helps workers and employers research job-related training, compare course types, and understand credential pathways. Our guides are for general information and course selection. They do not determine your individual legal obligations.

We are an independent directory

FindMyCert does not teach or administer the courses shown on this site, issue training cards, licenses or professional certifications, conduct workplace evaluations, or certify that a person meets a particular standard. Course instruction, assessment, issued records, customer support, and payments are handled by the training providers themselves.

Training completion is not always certification

A course-completion certificate, OSHA Outreach card, training record, exam-preparation program, license, employer authorization, and independently awarded certification can mean different things. Some training requires hands-on work, supervised experience, an accredited exam, a background check, an employer evaluation, or a regulator’s approval. We try to explain these distinctions in the relevant guides.

Requirements vary by job and location

Employers, contractors, licensing boards, government agencies, and local authorities may impose different requirements. Rules and accepted providers can change. Before paying for a course, confirm the program, delivery format, provider eligibility, and completion documentation with the organization requiring your training.

Provider details and enrollment

We research official materials and publicly available provider information, but we cannot guarantee that a course, price, availability, training schedule, or reported approval remains current. Any product listing should be checked against the seller’s current terms. We are not responsible for third-party courses, refunds, support, or issued records.

Affiliations and recommendations

Some provider links may earn FindMyCert a commission. Such relationships do not change the legal requirements for a credential or the need to verify a course independently. See our Affiliate Disclosure and research methodology.
